It was a fun game. Now, with the graphic updates, I can't read all of the cards' text boxes on my Pixel 9. The "cute" graphics leave a square over the words, and sometimes the text is blown up so big all of the words just don't fit. I checked settings several times, and there doesn't seem to be a way to fix it. What's worse, I just bumped the AI to smart, and now the game freezes at the start of the first turn.

Oh no no no, please revert to the original style. I play this game more than a dozen times a week to relax, and the new font and iconography are garish and bulbous. I'm addition, the animation is choppy, now, like my phone is all of the sudden not powerful enough to run the app correctly. Someone completely ruined the Ticket to Ride app to make it feel less like a board game and more like candy crush, please please please don't ruin this one in the same way. :(

I love tabletop version of Paperback- so I would love to rate this app higher. It still glitches frequently when a pile on the board is refreshed due to a purchase or a trash- the solo game goes into a spin and never returns. That said, it's a nice app adaptation- this could easily be a 5-star app if it didn't glitch as much. Since the font update the app freezes when a column card should be updating and perhaps when a common letter is captured. What should be a 5-star app now a 1-star.
